As far as History goes, the 19th century was a time of dramatic change. Profound transformations took place in all aspects of life and of knowledge. For example, in science and technology, the progress was revolutionary. As a result of that environment of social and cultural renewal, towards the end of the century, in 1892, the SEK Educational Institute was founded in Madrid. From that moment on, its educational experience has remained faithful to a specific commitment: to improve the quality of education of our students. To achieve this, we took as a basis our own unique learning model, one that develops all the dimensions of the student’s personality as he/she develops as a citizen of the world.
